The Grace, London

itoldyouiwouldeatyou are a bristling eulogy for a dying planet. The London-centred group have spent years on the DIY circuits honing their unique approach to indie rock, emo and post-punk, amassing a dedicated and cult-like fanbase. Having recently played with the likes of Teen Suicide, Weatherday, Michael Cera Palin, awakebutstillinbed and Pianos Become The Teeth, they have also cemented themselves as the UK arm of the rapidly growing fifth wave emo movement. Their five-year commitment to touring debut record Oh Dearism (Alcopop! Records/Failure By Design Records) and road-testing new material has allowed them to bolster their fanbase and stoke anticipation for their next release.

We Were Having Such a Nice Day will be the band's first full release since their debut album cycle, out on Friday 28th November. The first single ‘Wonderful Life, Pt. 1’ is out now on the band’s own distribution arm, FULL FORCE THOUGHT. The track features Gaby of PETSEMATARY (also a member of James and the Cold Gun), and includes guitar work from Johnny Foreigner’s Alexei Berrow.
